This is the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ which God gave him to show what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to the apostle John. John then testified to everything he saw. Blessed is the one who will read the words of this revelation, and blessed are those who hear it and keep what is written in it because the time is near (adapted from Revelation 1:1-3).
